Bluebells: Gardening vs. Foraging

Postby vatas » Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:49 am

There should be a curiosity you can grow in a garden pot.

There should be a curiosity that gives incentive to forage.

Bluebell can't fill those two roles alone. Either make new forage-only curiosity that's roughly equivalent to Bluebell (easy since it doesn't have to wait until reset) or replace Bluebell with something else that's equivalent to what it is now and leave Bluebell as forage-only.

Bluebell should be kept as a foraging curio for tradition reasons, and buffed.

We've been through this nightmare already, viewtopic.php?f=39&t=66063

How about instead, buff the other forageables like edelweiss and bloated boletes etc.

The problem with that was that it was implemented in middle of a world, so many people had used major effort to get gardener credo etc. etc. which was then nerfed so they were angry.
If the change to bluebells is made when the world resets there won't be a ruckus. Also the OP suggested to add something in place of them instead of just taking them away.

I think we need to bring back the Fate system mixed with the node system in order to balance the foraging aspect out.

No thanks, I would rather grow them instead of be forced to compete with 50 account foraging bot farms.

Rather than meeting the community in the middle in regards to this, they just reverted it entirely (for 20 Eastern Europeans who play this game for a living). They should have at least held firm on bluebells and maybe cavebulbs too.
