1. Lower soak of battering ram and catapult
2. Lower hitpoints of battering ram and catapult
3. Increase archery tower range and damage to an extent, where it is basically enough to build 1 or 2 archery towers to avoid being raided
Why?
- Current siege system only benefits strong players, they can siege anyone they want with quite low effort, and weaker players have no method of defence
- Disadvantage towards the attacking 1% is better than disadvantage towards the 99% who just want to play the game.
- Non-consenting pvp and ruining of bases is not cool
- Not optimal, but fast change to implement, and would result in better game
The Result
You would basically be invulnerable, if you see enough effort to check for siege engines and then build archery towers if there are some.
This would still require active defense from the one being sieged, which is nice.
