Things to implement before next world

MUST HAVE:

1. Missing remembered accounts display box when logging into game. I have to re-type my login and password every time I change account. There should be a box with saved accounts. Just click and you are logged in.

2. Missing armor class calculations at the bottom of character view. I have to hover my mouse over every armor piece and calculate my armor class.

3. Bug, icon is too big:

4. Possibility to move/resize minimap. For me and probably most of the players custom clients style (minimap on right top part of the screen) is better. Current minimap is fine, but please give us possibility to change it. Also current minimap is too small imo.

5. Camera view – the same as in amber. It’s the best. Now I have only 4 options for view angle, or I have to use bad cam, which I don’t like. Add option for that instead of writing magic command in the console
6. Way more options – video – audio. A lot of people are playing on “calculators” and they have 10-20 fps.
7. Add alarms to the client. Right now someone can be near me and I won’t even know about it. Right now there is very small indicator on map. That’s not enough
8. Add more custom keybindings. Drinking shortcut on ~ would be great.
9. Chat field is way way way too big. 99% messages are shorter than half of it.

10. Adventure -> toogles. Missing indicators which toogles are ON now. Please add icons under health bar which shows activated options. Also please remember my choice. Right now I have to enable tracking, criminal acts every time I log in into client.

11. Combat settings. Add way more combat settings. No one of fighters will use default client for fighting.
- Highlight current opponent, add x under it or smth.
- Display initiative points on all opponents which have aggro with me (above head or smth like it).
- Etc.
12. Add additional helpful shortcuts to the client. E.g dismount rider.
13. Remember “show quality” option. I have to enable it every time I open client.
14. Add possibility to hide elements (trees, objects etc.)
15. Display health points, stamina, energy over indicator bars so i don't have to hover my mouse over it to see exact value
16. Add percentage over hourglass when performing action e.g chopping a tree etc.

17. Add possibility to enter amount of items wanted to take from stockpile

18. Armor health indicator, similar to water container (horizontal or vertical bar)

19. Add timers to client.

NICE TO HAVE:
17. Add 2d view option if it’s not hard. A few custom clients have it.
18. Small cupboards. If a house is full of cupboards it's hard to see anything.
19. Right now farming is very boring and time consuming. Add an option to select area -> replant fields and store seeds in backpack.
20. Possibility to sort stockpile by ql.
21. Clear snow by selecting area instead of tile by tile.
22. Add bounding box near your heartling icon on map, so you know how big is render area

26. Construction health in percentage


If you have more ideas, please add it there. We will have them in one place.
Developers should also consider making a survey about which functions should be added if they are not sure about it.

At least Wikipedia defines them as "coastal wetlands" but in Haven they're treated more like deserts (judging by the two forageables you can find on them.)

At least give them unique biome .res to separate them from generic "dirt."

But yeah, think tidal flats should be unique biome with interesting curiosities and abundant life, why not post to C&I?

Change current "mudflat" from gfx/tiles/dirt into "gfx/tiles/claypan" and maybe look into "coastal wetlands" biome but don't waste too much time on in.
The most actively maintained Haven and Hearth Wiki (Not guaranteed to be up-to-date with all w14 changes.)

This is not relevant - you already can use global map as minimap, but with extra functions.

Right, didn't know about that trick. Removed from list. It's even better than in custom clients!

Ah, old feeling again. Shouldn't those all "console command" be an options instead of commands? It's much easier to select a checkbox than remember all that magic commands for standard user

probably, but this is what you get with a Linux guy. As someone that has been doing computers for longer than we've had GUIs (or rather, for almost as long... considering Xerox's design was shown in... '81, '82?), I'm just used to it. It's the "undocumented" part that irks me.

For what it's worth, I'm even more annoyed with our client modders as they likely found this and simply added the activation interface into the options rather than coding a new camera. They didn't tell us about it either (at least that I recall... apologies for the misplaced anger if they did and I just missed it.) !@#$ hackers ¦]

No & No!

1) How many of those magic commands do you actually regularly use while playing ?

2) Checkboxes are good for boolean stuff. (and they also need to be place somewhere in the menu-option structure. That's at least +3 actions to toggle a particular checkbox)
How do you figure using (radio)checkboxes for something like 'placegrid' ?

You do know that the console has a memory, right? That allow for recalling previous typed commands. (resets on character login/logout unfortunately)
Works perfectly for placegrid. Type fully just ones. To than just recall it to change its nr, or to just re-use a previously set one.


(Would be nice to be able to preset whatever console commands one would like to be executed (and thereby also stored in the console memory stack) on character login. ... I know, wishful thinking.)
