2. Questgivers now become immortal. It means that if tree is chopped or boulder chipped the questgiver’s spirit simply relocates to another tree or boulder at the same continent, current quests will not be failed.

As always, if you liked what we did here: Support the patch.
Today's Patch Item, for the fair price of $7, is "Puritan’s hat".

95% of the players are saying credos should be less mandatory, and I agree with them.

Your post is kind of making them even more mandatory.
(-) Things like +10% rowboat speed would be overpowered in pvp.
(-) Other things that are already annoying which already exist such as +% quality of stuff (like rocks/ores), farmer crop speed/yield, etc.
(-) You made wandering sage mandatory cause of the less stamina drain from RUNNING. This was the case for strider before it got changed this world. Not to mention how much more cancerous wandering sage is to get :D

There's a whole post that has 13+ pages in which everyone explains why credos are bad at the current stage: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=67388

Before you say I'm just hating on credos, I got these in the first 4 months:

-1 for misleading title, I knew there couldn't have been new patch since devs are on Christmas/winter break but still was confused for a second.

All credo apologists deserve death.

A lot of the time when people quit a game, or don't want to play a game, they'll give a minor reason that was just the last straw, or the first thing that comes to mind. "I'll never play haven again because [very small inconvenience here]" is a really common sentiment. Just people who were obviously never going to play long term making a justification.

Credos aren't complained about in the same way. I've tried to convince older players to come back to hafen for a new world, they've seemed genuinely excited, then somebody in chat will jokingly mention the credo grind. You can hear the enthusiasm instantly turn to dejected apathy.

I'm sure there's a valid argument in favor of credos, they seem to interest some of the people too aimless to make their own fun in a sandbox... But I think content that 5% of the population enjoy a lot, but that is also intrusive & unenjoyable enough that a different 5% of previously hardcore players will literally quit over it is very bad content.

Again, the saddest part of it is how easy it would be to fix credos. All that would have to happen is the OP credo bonuses to be changed... And it's not even like it would be wasting previous dev time, since most of the OP bonuses are just multiplying numbers by 1.1 or 1.2... I mean, they would still not be enjoyable for most people, but it could just be ignored

Moderator note: Name changed to prevent confusion. Please don't impersonate devs. (Yes, it's minor, but too many people browse the forums with the "new posts" and you don't see this is in C&I vs Announcements.)

I can't even comment on this other than to say "way too involved." This isn't better, but not necessarily worse. I'd just as soon have what we currently have over some massive change.

Why? It's a bonus, and if you don't want to do it, you can simply abandon.

Good question. I selected the text I wanted from the review area and hit the quote button there. Since there's a button on every post in the section, I must have clicked the wrong one. Didn't realize it would do it that way. I certainly didn't manually add the quote tags. Fixed in the post above.

Sorry for the minor derail. Carry on!

Credos were the main reason I refused to come back to the game after I took what was intended to be a short break from it this world.

Even if they announced a world reset unless there was some significant overhauling to the credo bullshit I doubt i'll come back to the game, its just not worth it.

Every world is "we don't like the idea of alts" "but also here's another absurdly specialised credo with 4 other credo requirements needing you to make yet another alt".

And don't even get me started on how absolutely fucking cancerous mystic is.
