I think the post is saying you can't harvest said resources without completing the appropriate credo. I could be wrong there.

Better would to just remove some of the aforementioned resources (ice) or nerf it into the ground (salt) and remove it from the "local resource" list. Or move the effect to alchemy with some powerful balance level to it.

The idea is like magicman said you need to complete a credo first to be able to gather a local resource for example the Miner credo gives you the ability to gather rock crystals.
Would make it clearly harder to bot these resources because just to spawn an alt wont work.

I'm not sure that local resources were invented for this purpose.
Maybe some new local resources for different credos, but not all local resources at all.

...and also clearly harder for newbies to get these resources, so remove them from the hermit trade system too, while it would take 5 mins for botter to cheese this restriction.

Thats not true hermits have at the moment no chance vs bots but if you need for example the farmer credo for heartleaves and salt you cant just spawn a bot at said locations. You need to grow a bot in your homebase till it has the credo and then bring it to that resource and if your bot auto log in even a hermit can kill it and the booter losses a lot of work.

But it's a credo. Now you just need to respawn the parked character and do nothing else. Completed credos are inherited after a death.

i recommend add stat requiriments (250LPstat & 250attr) and EXP cost (2000) to gathering rare resources in addictive to credo requeriment
it so pain in ass when you see queue of alts HF near rare resource. mostly when you see HF was used few mins ago so rare resource keeps offline and you cant get it. (mb add loot drop when HF destroyed?)
atm it cost only 10min 10 stones 10 clay & etc. to start abuse
1 player could set 20 alts HF per day. and gather 20 spots at same time. when normal players have to run from 1 to another.
even you broke 1 alt : 19 othrers will continue do shit. and restore 1spot will take same time as gather resource from alt.char by main.char
you will not know who abuses it (and where alt owner lives), when you have to leave scents to kill alt & destroy HF.
[you could place own scout alt there to memorize alt owner or ping you when he comes]

looks like game push you to use alts for everything. because its easy, safe and profit. dont understant why it takes years to fix...

Ohh true forot that but anyways a credo as prerequisition would help.
Also what "ctopolon" said it could cost you some EXP.
