Some candle graphic variations for the burning candle inside a candelabrum would be nice.
IE: Some game feedback on how long the candle has been burning, or 'preferably' how long it still will burn.

Potential future pigmented candles.

pretty sure candles weren't historically used as a decoration until almost like the 1900s

before the onset of fuel lamps and shit they were practically a necessity

having them as decorative and dyeable items would be super out of place and the dyes we have ingame would not logically be mixable with wax

If nothing else, we have two current sources of different colored candles: beeswax and candleberries. Tallow candles could also be added (if it's not already in the game... I haven't made a candle in this game in I don't know how long.)

i'm pretty sure they were. https://lmgtfy.app/#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=how ... 0naturally I'm not going on a whole research binge on this, but I'll say this has been known since pre-Renaissance, probably dating back almost as long as people have known how to make candles (bronze age or earlier). At least, one can reason that it was known as long as dying cloth has been.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
