Ship-house

A new kind of ship that is large, with an interior like a house, I guess this should be doable even before the OCO is completed.
The idea is that so far nomad living is not really that doable, since everything in the game requires a lot of space. A lot of people in the real world live a nomadic life on boats, and not all for limited periods. With a literal house on water that can move (and be actually locked, unlike ship cargos) people would have the chance to be nomads for real, this would also help greatly explorers that so far cannot bring with them anything that doesn't fit inside the cargo, cannot count on the safety of the cargo nor they can leave anything outside like a bed for sleeping because it wouldn't be safe. It would also be appreciated by merchants probably.

It would also be a great match with stilt houses on water and other shallow water dwelling ideas, but I know we're not getting that before OCO is completed since they already made the example of bridges needing it.

This sounds like a badass idea but I'm sure the devs will argue that it is not really plausible without OCO.
The transition between "going inside" and "being on the deck to drive" might be tricky without it, as well as the idea of what happens if the boat moves while you are inside. Otherwise it sounds like amazing idea ... I am picturing docks and multiple ships like this all parked together between islands like a bunch of merchant gypsies or something. I certainly hope something like this is added eventually.

I cant wait till I can live in a boat and they add more ocean content.

They could technically make it so you right click on boat and click a button to enter the cabin of the ship.

Would be super cool. OCO sounds better, though.

This was exactly my idea of how it could work without OCO, clicking on it the menu would add enter alongside the other options, and getting out of the "house" portion would put you in the driver's slot automatically, you can always click while you're aboard already to change position, check the cargo or whatever, and the inside of the house is a pocket dimension, that's why I think OCO is not needed to implement it.

Considering there's a massive renovation to how this works on the way, and this would work best with OCO, I think it's better to be patient.
