Shitty bow that doesn't need leather, please. Or any other early game ranged weapon really.

Stil have to dry some hide. All birds etc need some alternative mechanic to catch, throwing rocks to concuss them or something.

Having to wait util you've dried some hide is fine for me.

Shoobie, I know you're not a god of masochism like lunaris, but you're being overly dramatic about this. It's not the end of the world to wait 8 hours before you can sling a bird.
