Wild Onion

Postby Zentetsuken » Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:55 am

Farming takes a long time to get going, so it would be pretty cool to have a wild onion that would allow us to dip our toe in to frying-pan level recipes before mass farming.

We have a wild tuber now with the cattails, so it would make sense to get a wild onion so we can make early-game steak & tubers and spicy salad and whatnot

Or I guess just make chives count as an onion too?

While we're at it, can we dry cattail roots and grind them into a flour for early baking? Potentially increase the seed yield from oaks and let us create acorn flour?

Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

Love it.

Drying worms, grubs, and ants in the sun and grinding them down is done is some cultures as well, to be used as a flour or soup thickener.
Total misplay.
