killer bees

ok, come on

bees do not chase you down for 5 miles if you mess with them.
give the hives an aggro radius, once you run away, the bees can go back to defending the hive.

running from boars and bears forever at least makes sense, not bees

tbh, easy vs hard vs annoying aside, I like the idea of bees swarming around their hive specifically with a fairly short leash range. Seems very bee-like in my head at least.

RL isn't a particularly well balanced game though. P2W garbage.

I personally think they should engage you when you get too close to the hive, not just when you raid it. Like, the bees themselves having no aggro radius, just the nest.

I'd go one step further and ask for raiding to not pop bees out. So bee raiding is just the aggro version of anthill raiding, with the occasional lucky hive with no defenders.

Short leash/aggro range (but basically guarenteed aggro), fight off the defenders, get larvae, win!
