Rat Cape & Bat/Rat enmity

In the spirit of my love of weird capes: Rat Cape? Made with Caverat skins of course. Ideally it would prevent Caverat aggro like the Bat Wing does with bats. It's fun when capes have oddball secondary effects.

Also, because animal interactions are neat, bats and caverats should be mortal foes like badgers and foxes. Wearing a bat wing would guarantee aggro from nearby caverats and vice versa with the rat cape.

Anything to make cave rat material more useful is a +1 in my book.

Adding "animal aggro immunity" to capes would encourage me to invest into hunting and trading more. Something like a wolf or adder cape would be priceless, especially for nomadic players! :o

+1 this would also give some extra incentive to actually wear capes for more advanced players, most high tier players just ignore the animal capes.

I'd still use the bat wing over a rat cape. You often see clusters of bats, sometimes 5+, I don't want them agroing me, giving massive openings quickly and scratching my armor away whereas rats are pretty easy to avoid or kill. I think the whole reason the bat cape was added was because so many noobs were straight up dying to bat clusters.

Agroing-immunity cave rat boots would be cool though, since you can wear both that and a bat wing simultaneously.

i´m not loving the idea of aggroimmunity for more animals.
and developed players in the lategame do not only ignore bearcapes, but bears althogeter, aside from meat ofc.

but i would love it if every animal would get at least one unique pice of equipment/clothing.
cavewiskers are alright, but i´m not hunting rats for them , neiter do i for 1x1 generic fur, or will fep,

i love that we have otters, but everytime i kill one i remember that they are just as usefull cute and alive than on my dryingrack.

but caverats and regular rats are an bit underutilised i think.
maybe an specialrare curio drop. or an craftable could fix it , like an ratking https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rat_king
but i would much more love it if we could wear more animals. that we kill even if i´ts just an cosmetic item, or an off couloured leatherboot



btw. since we have swampcancer anyway now leeching oure hp away, make rats spawn in civilisation centres, and make them spread shit so we need too get rid of em . let them scale with q of decayed stuff in that region, and average of present trashpiles.
