Quest Kill Request

Some quest givers should give the task to destroy other quest givers.
This will make it harder to get millions of LPs by building roads and claiming quest givers.

That sounds like a mechanic that will piss the hell out of nearly everyone who actually quests. Wouldn't it be more sensible to ask for high end quest rewards to be reigned in instead?

You clearly don't understand the system. It would just screw with the "who" you visit to complete quests, probably piss everyone in the area off for losing a quest or two to that tree that they've been trying to complete (like a t4 artifact), and overall have little or no impact outside of those two parts.

Given the spacing between thingwalls and size of regions, the "building roads" to quest givers is going to be a thing of the past.

And you have the power to deal with claims over quest givers. Just because you choose not to exercise that power doesn't mean it isn't there.

I was under the impression questgivers have "levels" with regards to the tier of quests they'll give a player. You'll never get a "make T4 artifact" quest from a giver you just started questing for. I've also heard they have an internal level, and the more people use one the better rewards it gives to everyone in the area.

I dunno, maybe a lot of us don't understand the system. This is secondhand knowledge from a faction I thought knew what they were doing anyway.

I'm not sure how much of that is just "personal affinity" to the spirit, or if any of it was from more and more people doing quests there. I've certainly had trees I just met in a fairly populated area give bupkis for rewards, no better than what I'd get in from a tree I had just met in a corner of a world. Charisma has a positive impact on the rewards given out, too, so it's usually going to raise quality of rewards over the course of a world.

its kinda like this

some questgivers also start off giving harder quests than others, and questgivers also have a bias towards certain rewards; it's plausible for example to find a questgiver that really likes giving "+1 to clay node quality" and just spam that questgiver over and over.

it wasn't an uncommon practice to kill every single questgiver nearby except for the one you liked and then commune with it specifically to try and raise node qualities for example
