Shorten taming

31.5 hours. One of five goats has remained 15%. The other four progressed around 19-24hours

Could you be reasonable and make it a consistent 18-24hr window that I may barrage 161 damage to a mouflon and butcher a 95% tamed animal? I do think the game would be more fun.

Imo just make it so animals don't exit the taming window. Them being able to reset the cycle means if I catch an animal right before I log off, its taming window pushes into when I sleep pretty quickly.

Edit: Animals not exiting the taming stage would let any schedule tame, just slightly slower.

Taming is a bit dumb indeed, but it has to be done only once.

The way it currently is unnecessarily punishes hermits or small groups with restricted schedules.

I agree with this, the taming timer fork is a pain if you got any activity to do.
If you got a job, you have to pray for the animal being tameable during your playtime.

Not to mention that the inability to tell gender before fully completing the process just unnecessarily wastes time and resources taming and you may still end up with a handful of the same gender and no better off than you were before.

Just have to accept most of them will despawn I suppose. If anyone wants to share a bot they made that detects the animation, please pm.

I have a 100% tame rate even with missed ticks, have had animals out of taming windows for 4-5 days. What do you mean despawned?
