World gen idea: Esker

It looks like you would have to get in and out of your boat and carry it across land often to get where you want to go. I think it would be more annoying than interesting

It indeed would. But is that a bad thing? I think its a bit boring to have this game so dominated by boats. Its haven and hearth, not a river boating simulator.

why in the world would you be suggesting worldgen ideas 1 month after a new world?

seems like an incredibly obvious shitpost to me, you know very well that even if they somehow loved this random new terrain type idea that it would be put in a notepad and forgotten about after a week and not even used for another year if ever at all.

honestly just an overall silly post

Yes, you should sit on good ideas until they are relevant.

That being said, namedropping a random natural terrain phenomenon you just learned about is not even an idea, it's just a shitpost.
Esker is a random land shape that already occurs in the game all over the place, adds nothing of value whatsoever and amounts to 1 person making a road once and the entire thing being ignored forever afterwards.

What exactly would be new / special about this "biome"?
Looks? Shape? Utility?
Don't we already have biomes looking like that?
Don't we already have long ridges with trees?
Don't we already have thin ribbons of land cutting through the water?
