If hexagon hitboxes are going to be a big thing (like for tree's, bushes, stockpiles) there probably not going to play nice with a minimal rotation angel of 11.25 degree. (user build/placement wise)

But than again, the only nice hexagon seems to be a regular one. (with some 60 degree related angle snapping)


That makes me wonder ... if that 90/8 snap angle is now not a real game thing anymore, but just a leftover client thing. (game spawned tree's seems to suggest the latter)

lol - nice video.

(Do note that most of those combined regular one's are of same/similar size (size always somewhat of an issue when mixing and matching).)


A change from the minimal rotation angle from 11.25 to 15 might be interesting. Or 12, if 45 is in no need to be maintained. ... (or user adjustable, like :placegrid, of course)
