Make the mortar a part of the alchemy table

right now, the mortar is a tool you need to hold in hand to make some elixirs and whatnot; this is a little annoying to manage as it occupies both slots of your inventory, meaning that you can't hold tsacks or otherwise (though the current selection messiness might make this undesireable anyways).

Make it another object you place on the table instead, so that I don't need to fiddle with my inventory constantly to make things.

I've had the thought as well.

Yes, this bothers me everytime I make elixirs as well. While we're at it, can we also leave the Smithy's Hammer on the Anvil? It's literally the only place you ever use it, but I've gone outside many times before realizing I still had it equipped and need to go back inside, back into the basement, to put the hammer back in the cupboard. (Leaving the Glass Blowing Rod at the crucible would be cool too.)

Definitely agree with both of these. Tools that can only be used at a specific crafting station should have a slot on said station similar to the alchemy table.

General note, it's also unfun how you have to manually fill the tiny drinking vessels to not nuke the quality. Would be nice to clean that system up somehow as well.

Maybe a rightclick option on the actual drinking vessel and have it autopull appropriate liquids? But there's more than one per item so dunno.

For that, I think not having the drinks turn into vinegar while still in the damn vessel would be a good start. That way we could just put the vessels on nearby tables and drink from that, but because they decay into vinegar I have to grab from the barrel every single time.
