An option to disable or tone down opium effect.

An option to disable or tone down opium effect.

As the title suggests.

I get why the effect is there, you're stoned off your tits on opium.

But for some (me) it gives me absolutely chronic motion sickness looking at the screen when the full blown "Crazy High" effect is going on which basically makes the game unplayable for around 20 minutes because i'd actually vomit if i continued. Would be nice for a motion sickness friendly version where it doesn't scale so much or a disable option.

I'm going to second this.

Props on making me feel like I'm high on bad mushrooms, though I don't get the benefits of actually being high.

I like and use a "disable weather" button in my custom client. Would be nice if default has the same (not playing default, I obviously wouldn't know)

Easier when said drugs aren't a requirement for certain credos as well as the most effective remedy against a wound.

We heard it here first: jorb doesn't do mystic credo and doesn't cure his pains with opium. ¦]

^ exactly this. Credos make it a requirement to do them. You're basically forcing people who have problems with motion sickness to either auto-abandon these quests, do them and be denied the ability to even remotely play the game for a decent chunk of time or have a custom client feature to disable it.

All 3 are pretty shitty from a gameplay/end-user experience imo. Not saying remove the effect entirely, just support a "minimilised" version.

Jorb: Is a god whom creates drugs in a universe to be used to cure certain wounds.

Also Jorb: "Don't do drugs."
