How to fix Cheese Hunting.

So i don't necessarily hate how hunting is done now, and obviously i cheese hunt as does everyone whom actually wants to get ahead in this game, but the devs don't seem to keen on this way of hunting so instead i propose an alternative.

make it literally impossible to aggro a animal while you are in a boat or on a cliff above said animal AND make it so if you enter a boat or go up a cliff it automatically ends combat, with the animal running away. This way it becomes effectively impossible to fight animals using boats and cliffs (exceptions must be made for whaling obviously as well as many other seafaring creatures)

Now first off, this will make hunting with a bow literally impossible, so i would say you should still allow a archer to aim while on a cliff or boat, but once they hit, regardless of damage the creature runs without aggro away forcing you to give chase. Bow armor piercing should be increased to make them not terrible, and the hunter credo should GREATLY increase damage to animals so that bows become viable in light of this new system. (This might make bows the new meta for hunting animals, which i would be okay with because while they would be easier they would trash quality, so the easy route destroys quality while the harder melee and UA right preserve quality but take much longer to get going)

Melee and UA would not be immediately useable for hunting. No more the days of killing badgers and foxes with 10 UA and a dugout, now you actually have to match the stats of the animal you are fighting to be able to fight it. Just so it doesn't take like 2 weeks in world for Melee and UA hunting to become viable i am in favor of adding early game hunting weapons for the stone age, like Stone Spears which would have been absolutely normal during the Stone Age, which would allow day 1 Melee hunters *some* amount of leeway to get their builds operational early.

Tracking. One thing i think is blood tracks should be MUCH more frequent and animals should bleed much more frequently, ideally with bleeding being what kills the animal. A fight with an animal would essentially be building up to get one solid hit in (If you have the stats to survive that long) and then a long chase where the animal bleeds out (Yes i think you should still get a combat move, even if you are unaggroed, something i support regardless of this idea) Blood damage should increase as well so it doesn't take 30 years for an animal to bleed to death.

Ultimately cheese hunting has existed since the early days of this game and it has never, not been a thing, but maybe we could see an end to it, and see proper hunting implemented by eliminating your ability to aggro in a boat or on a cliff, and ending combat if you enter one, with the animal running away. Make w13 or w14 a world with less cheese.

It doesn't need to be fixed. This has been discussed to death. Recently.

No more the days of killing badgers and foxes with 10 UA and a dugout, now you actually have to match the stats of the animal you are fighting to be able to fight it.

This is just math. No challenge. Nothing interesting. "Cheese hunting" is more challenging than this. This is just trading wounds and is also ridiculous.

the problem is not that cheese hunting exists imo, it's that it's the only good solution for hunting because of how bad and unfun hunting is. fixing the cheese is easy, but fixing the cheese without alternative (and fun, at that) ways to hunt is bad.

Pretty sure archery doesn't affect quality anymore, it's all about your own survival level.
