Is Diablo's Left-click-and-hold movement possible?

Could this ever be a possibility for Haven?

Haven is really clicky, specially in terms of character movement. It would be nice if we could hold down the left mouse button and seamlessly move around our bases without having to spam clicks to the server

There was a custom client that had this but I can no longer remember which one. It was great though and you’re right that it would be a nice quality of life addition.

Click-and-hold to move the character in a straight line towards mouse cursor location would be a great upgrade to the game.

The clicking is intense sometimes and would be nice to reduce.

If you are using Ards Client you can sort of achieve this. Shift + Click makes your dude run off in the direction.

That's actually a default client feature

I think that just acts as one really long click though, so you can't hold it down, move the mouse around and change directions

Actually this is possible on ardclient under some experimental menu. I played with it for a week but the downside is that it no longer picks up objects as well as before since it recognizes very tiny movements in your lmb click when you try to lift something. So you end up having to lift something 3 times just to lift it. Ultimately just being more annoying than useful
