claiming thingwalls vs thingclaims

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

claiming thingwalls vs thingclaims

long story shoirt, currently thingwalls can be claimed by vclaims, or partially by pclaims, in both cases they can "provoke" leaving scents

from my point of view I dont mind, I am outlawed most of the time and feel free to track me, but this is common knowledge that this practice is used to track spruces, and in current shape there is no notification that tells them "you will land on claimed ground, consider not to"

I suggest to create mechanic that gives thingwalls their own form of claim ( lets call it thingclaim ), so there could not be another players pclaim too close to thingclaim or its boarders, technically this thingwall could still be covered by vclaim, but thingclaim would take precedence in terms of permissions, so no scents are left

thoughts ?

Makes sense. All thingwalls appear near water for the design purpose of keeping them from being walled off, this feels no different than palisading a thingwall.

I like it, just have it show up like a Pclaim in the Pclaim view maybe? Mechanically it would function, prevents other Pclaims being dropped but can still be Vclaimed over (to no change in permissions).
