The way satiations work right now makes you want to stay in a specific satiation range depending on what your eating. You want to stay as high % as you can while still maintaining decent feps, since the higher % decay faster. It's a balance of getting as many feps at a rate of time, while not dragging the feps down to garbage level. I don't hate the system, it has some level of gameplay to balance out the right feps. But you're just expected to have so many eating sessions.
I usually feast at least 2-3 times a day, though if I wanted to be really try-hard i'd probably want to eat six times a day evenly spaced out, to stay in a specific satiation %. It's pretty annoying having to space feasting out so meticulously, and having to eat so frequently. Many people can't login this much. And this is one of the most impactful parts of character progression.
I think satiations should recover at 1/3 of their current rate, but food would give 1/3 of the current satiations to balance it out. This would make it so your feasting sessions can have more food and you don't have to eat as frequently to stay in the satiation % that you want, while keeping the current rate of stat gain the same. At the proposed 1/3 I'd guess feasting once a day would be enough to have good stats. Though I'd argue 1/6 or 1/9 would be better. Not logging in for a weekend because of having a life and not missing out on tons of satiation sounds great.
