Why cant we lit a torch from smoking shed?

There are a blazing flames inside. Seems to be an oversight to me since even ovens can be used this way.

Don't think smoking works like that.

The whole point of smoking is not to have flame but this.. smoking wood thing that is kind of sloowly burning, no way you could lit a torch from it.

Smoking done in HnH is obviously cold smoking, where there is no proper open flame. Smoking with open flame lasts minutes to hours, but in hnh smoking takes like a (ingame) week.

I beg to differ.

Besides there is substential burning going on even during cold smoking, only difference is the long pipeline from fire to smoking chamber so smoke would cool down.
