In-game windows even without text fields eat my cursor

Trying to chat while fishing is mission impossible.

I was getting real mad before I figured out it was the thing in title, when any sort of new window pops up (including opening containers) it becomes active instead of chatbox and you lose your cursor, without noticing you keep typing and can activate all sorts of action menu things.

Yea I agree, was fishing earlier today and noticed the same thing!
