so credos were made a lot easier this year but a lot of them were neutered as well
I had an interesting idea that could make the credo grind potentially more lucrative
inspired by the thread about changing potter to be in the quarryman line, I thought, what if we were actually rewarded for getting credos that don't actually line up with the meta?
The idea would be that most or all credos reward bonuses when you get another credo, some would be simple and mundane, but some could be potentially very rewarding.
Like a synergy bonus for having hunter and forager could be something as simple as a small survival bonus
or hunter and fisher could be reduced chance of getting hurt by crabs and jellyfish??
forager and fisher could be a simple will bonus
but then some of the really bizarre mishmashes could potentially be more rewarding
like if you go out of your way to get pearl diver and strider maybe you gain the ability to rarely see a foragable truffle without the aid of a pig??
or like if you go out of your way to get cave hermit and herder maybe you gain the ability to domesticate and breed stalagoombas???
gardener and cave hermit? maybe you should be able to pot indigo caps?
blacksmith and cook? using metal symbel is more effective for you??
These are just random examples, surely they are not perfect or entirely well though-out
but this world it seems plausible to be able to go big on getting credos, moreso than it has been since we lost the credo suiciding, but it seems like there is less reason to go big since some of them have become very lackluster. Synergies would simply aim to fill the gaps of some of the OP stuff we lost with new and interesting content.
