Losing progress is credos is bad.

This is way too harsh punishment for a thing people have too little control over, sometimes you just got unlucky and have something impossible like "Eat roasted troll x30", "harvest thing that wont exist for next 3 weeks" or "study rock crystal x3" and have no options other than abandon quest and pray for the best. And sometimes it spirals out of control and you have to abandon 2,3,4 quests in the row. It feels unjustified like you was just scammed. Losing progress just because RNG isn't exactly pinncle of game design people are thrilled about. We already have another mechanic to discourage cheesing credos with easy quest fishing, namely cooldown on an abandonment option. This is mild punishment and much much more healthier from the game design point of view people are punished by timegate instead of taking away their acomplishments so why dont we just stick with it on every stage of the credos?

Credos suck, we all know it and agree they should be completely reworked.
But this:

Isn't true. You do have an option to actually put in the effort and complete them.
Other than out of season quests (which are a well known issue already reported several times), every other quest is doable. The fact that you decide to abandon them because you want easier ones it's on you.
Trading is a great way to complete credos. I always trade for stuff I need for a credo that I can't get myself (like troll mushrooms for gardening). And there's plenty of small community discords where people help each others with credos (especially stuff like farmer).
Just because people want to rush credos it doesn't mean they should.
And this comes from someone that has been stuck on the same damn "Experience ..." quest for the past 3 weeks or so, because those are really random triggers you can't do much about.
