Beestings in winter?

Yeah, uh, so if no bees are around in winter and honey isn't produced anymore, why should i get stung by bees while collecting leftover honey? Just for the sake of it?

I'm not against it and it's the most minor thing there is, but doesn't sum up for me.

Not like they would die during winter or anything.
DDuring winter bees go into diapause, they can probably still sting you if you go and disturb them.
