Make jar more useful (honey, etc)

Make it so you can put more things in jars, like honey, since you rarely need huge amounts of it anyway. They'd become basically small buckets that you can put in your inventory. Would help a ton to create some recipes while still being able to have free hands.

I usually use barrels for stuff like honey but +1 anyway.

might be a good idea or make it possible to carry buckets in your inventory xd

the problem with changes like this is that there are already similiar things that need polishing / are not consistent at all.

stock piles for example. certain things have stock piles, certain things don't. it makes no sense. similiar stuff will happen with jars.
imo every item should be looked over and be polished in a way that it is consistent.
should there be more general stockpiles or more specific ones?
jorbtar would probably benefit to review this and make a clear system so they don't have to bother (or try to avoid bothering) about every single item because of a C&I thread.

I'd be fine with for example very general stockpiles like leaves, that go up 250 and can contain any sort of leaf, could use that for forageables (or maybe a bit more specific, like mushrooms, plants/spices or something), meat etc.

sorry for derailing a little but the reason I'm writing this is because that there is already this system I described that seems unfinished and you want another system on top of that.
the problem is that every single thing like putting more stuff into jars is another thing the devs have to take care of when implementing a new item. and tbh with stockpiles and shit they seem to rather get annoyed doing this than anything else which is why I suggest to make a checklist for an item and have a look over every item and polish that before considering your suggestion, which I think it good btw, it's just that you don't really want to wipe your ass before you took some toilet paper on your hand.

hard super agree with jars becoming small buckets, so manipulating certain items like quicksilver doesnt feel awful

can be balanced with "Don't let people drink fluids out of them" if someones concerned about some kind of goofy """balance"""

I see nothing wrong with letting people drink cancer juice from jars.
