Maybe its time to move the dns server to some completely separate place than loftars wardrobe?
I had to dig the IP to access forums from god knows where to make this post because loftars internet is down yet again.
Think of if somebody had to defend his place right now and he didn't write down the IP so he would be screwed!

Yeah, faced this today either.

Sorry about that. It's not so much about getting a third party to run it as it was simply about it being misconfigured. I had accidentally let the NS hint records on the registrar drift from the NS records in the authoritative data, which resulted in me having the wrong impression of how it was set up in the end. I believe the configuration should be fixed for the future now.
Not sure what any of that has with the 90s to do, however.
