Weekly/Monthly/Yearly forum/in-game Surveys/Polls?

I saw on Salem discord that they have polls asking about game machenics and giving devs an in sight what the community likes and dislikes, so I thought why not apply similar tactic to Hafen?
We could have either weekly, monthly or yearly surveys/polls that could be asnwered either on forums or (better, maybe) in game like clicking on Hearth Fire for example. Also it will be devs controlled so they could could have like 10 questions/polls of which players could answer and give them a better insight what people think is shit, what they enjoy and so on. Giving them a better understanding what to focus on more and what to focus on less.

No cues should be taken from Salem as it is an already sunken ship that still somehow has a single retard manning the helm.

Edit: Also, any polls or surveys would be abused/manipulated by the segment of the game's population that would very obviously do that.

Not necessarily. There are multitude of ways to prevent repeating votes.

Like account/email bound answers so they couldn't spawn 20 characters, because it's still the same account.

Account bound, email bound, purchase bound or some other property of account, discord account bound, captcha bound... There are many ways, discord account bound is perhaps the best, as discord already has quite rigid systems in place to prevent spam creation of accounts.

Easy to make new accounts, easy to make burner emails, etc.

Also easy to circumvent.

To me, the problem wouldn't exactly be "people manipulating the poll to get the result they want" so much as the ease with which a single person could add enough noise to make the poll worthless.

Effort to create a discord server for the game and create a poll in there is minimal so there aren't many reasons to no to try it except than if devs think that there wouldn't be anything worth asking via polls.

At this point, anything would be better than just hearing jorb say "but I got 10 PMs to change this mechanic, which clearly represents the entire playerbase" lmao
