Elixir healing time

The healing time of elixirs should be improved. Considering very expensive investment with time/effort and resources to discover properties of randomized properties in materials, elixirs should be way more efficient. After myriads of combinations tested and time wasted we get similar performance to treatments like going picking waybroad and applying to the wound. It is like same healing rate from something that is x1000 times cheaper and faster to acquire. Balance is needed badly. I suggest:

Increase healing rate of elixirs substantially; all of them. Decrease a bit healing rates of simple foraged medicine herbs
Assign existing elixirs to different tiers based on their complexity: herbal swill - faster then regular medicine, mercurial - very fast healing rate; mushroom - in between of herbal swill and mercurial
Keep ingredient description in the products of alchemical processes

I'd say completely the opposite. One time input for infinite (cheap) healing that completely over-rides the current other forms of first aid is powerful enough. The only thing "controlling" alchemy healing is the variable wound time healing. Giving away ingredients also means no one will ever trade elixirs ever, because all your hard work gets stolen instantly.

I would like to see alchemy re-worked though. As it is right now, feels closer to herbalism. Finding properties in nature and using what you find.
