Hanging carcasses of animal to get rid of butchering cancer

Instead of butchering each animal every time you killed some to save meat from it, let us hang skinned and cleaned carcasses of animal on special trolley that can be built in cellar and store a lot of carcasses. With that way carcass should never decay, and you can just cut as much meat as you need for cook.

To be honest I was inspired by orca/cachalot chunks, it's so convenient that they can be stored as in-game object without need of instant butcher.

inb4 understand that fraction bois kills hundreds of animals every day and this solves nothing for them, it's rather convenient for normal players.

assuming the only animal people would ever hang is a bear corpse or a moose corpse, why can't you just have 16-32 slots of space available in your meat storage for it? wouldn't the space taken up by a corpse preserving rack be identical or greater than a cupboard?

i genuinely have never understood the draw of some features like this, unless it's a smaller compact receptacle for many corpses. i also don't really understand the people storing orca/cachalot slabs when you can just fit those away in cupboards too.

why not just make butchering not a slow miserable task so everyone benefits in all walks of life?

Yeah, sure this should have more capacity than usual lying body hitbox, assuming 1x3 trolley can hold up to ~10 carcasses

i think the root of the problem is the fucking sheer amount of animals you need to kill and butcher to compete which makes the simple butchering a pain in the ass.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

I liked that guy's idea for a meat windmill instead of a grain one, where you just chuck entire animal corpses into a specialized grinder+container that holds bones, meat, offal and special products. Butchering is a pretty huge waste of time and I've let hundreds of animals tick to decay because butchering them wasn't worth it (yet I brought them back wagon after wagon so fuck me anyway).

I'd say both the amount of products required and the process of butchering both slide into tedium that could be made better with reiteration
