Pickles

Cucumbers are kind of pointless right now and could use another recipe.

A simple addition would be quick pickles made from cucumbers + vinegar + spices.

In the long run it would be nice if there were clay or glass crocks that you could fill with vinegar and then add cucumbers and wait for a week to make pickles. Maybe you could make sauerkraut in them from leaves as well.
