(about island sizes) maps in next worlds should...

have more islands of size from 1x1 minimap to 3x3 minimaps(they should have such squares contained within their area), those also shouldn't have too many cliffs, especially in the middle

most of the islands that currently exist are not like those(they are either smaller or bigger), but it would be nice to have such

there is some small number of islands that match those requirements, but there are not too many of them

the vast majority of islands is rather tiny, not good for inhabiting them, can't fit a village that has everything that you need on them, there is also a small number of ones that have about 100-500 of minimaps within them, but those are on the other hand of course too big for a single village

only a small percentage of islands is good enough to live on

wouldn't mind some rarer 4x4 - 7x7 minimap ones to fit a little bit more than just village as well

Small islands spawning in archipelagos of 15-20 islands would be nice addition too.

I would love to see more variety in the oceans, or even the addition of small islands in lakes.

I tried roleplaying an island character in deep sea, it was nice until you realize there's no way to get drinking water, would be nice to have a primitive water source, like rain, evaporation, old trunks, etc

well is too expensive if you're in deep sea island, can't make cordage with salt water, but still wouldn't be enough... best option was finding flax or hemp early on, but still need drinking water to work, otherwise you'd wait forever energy healing

couldn't simply import the resources from the closest continent?
