Yeah. Willow bark medicine. Somethin easy to make, cauldron n water + bark. Somethin simple. Maybe make it a liquid/form of tea. Just a thought that would be a nice addition. Something easy to make for the sprucecaps.

We call it 'aspirin.' Good for relieving aches and pains, lowering blood pressure, and giving ulcers.

Also, some ideas are pretty common over time. Please do a bit of search first before posting a new topic, and you might discover things: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=60211&p=769485&hilit=willow+bark#p769485

Salem has it, but it only cures specific illness.

If you want me to spitball, maybe it would at least alleviate Swamp Fever symptoms. If we go by "aspirin" -route, it would also alleviate some of the Alchemy Wounds too.

Would necessitate changing Willows to give "willow bark" (counts as tough bark and regular bark.)

I think there's a pretty good amount of data to be had for rehashing an idea in a new thread. No one goes back to look at ancient threads. One way to look at a repeat idea is as a good gauge of whether or not there is community interest. Doesn't seem like a big deal if an idea gets iterated on more than once but then again, I don't have the unenviable job of "moderating" a forum.

Reminds me of how mustard would make sense with the current game setting (as long as meaningful recipes/uses could be figured) but thread about it got immediately derailed by "mustard gas lol."

(Mustard gas isn't made from mustard at all. It just happens to smell similar when certain impurities are present, hence the name.)
