Display Tree Type Upon Log Inspection

Postby Axyx » Mon Mar 21, 2022 8:03 pm

I think it would be spiffy if I could use inspect on a log and have it tell me the tree type. I'm trying to memorize them by appearance but boy howdy if there aren't a lotta trees. It would sure be nice if I could inspect a log and know not just its quality but also what kind of tree it is. If that's an easy implement that would be super duper!

In general inspecting things to see what they are would be nice, like cave walls.

Most custom client have an inspection mode that shows objects file name, in ender, go to Xtended > Inspect to get it out

This is a major feature IMO. It makes mining much, much more convenient.

That is a nice feature, however, I still think that adding a handful of lines of code to display that information upon standard inspection is far preferable.
