Invisible Hat Hat

Give us a hat that only hides the default equipped headslot items so it shows the player's hair.

(This is literally the greatest moneymaking idea of all time btw)

EDIT: name idea courtesy of Asendre, the Hatn't

Terraria actually has this in the form of the 'Familiar Wig' (hides helm/hair accessory), 'Familiar Shirt' (hides armor/shirt) and 'Familiar Pants' (hides pants). That said, I don't think this is a good idea as a store item (crafted item would be fine) as it actually has in-game utility as stealth item; with this you could dress up like an innocent newbie while actually hiding a dhelm or similar. At least when someone is wearing a store hat you know that you don't know what the player is wearing; this would give the false impression you know they're wearing nothing.

So the solution to this problem should be as follows: the hat should be visible in the portrait at least somehow, but at the same time be as small as possible to create the feeling that there is nothing. A small accessory like hairpins? But on male characters it will look strange. Personally, I do not know how to solve this problem.

You thought that is naked alt, buts it professional bare-hand fighter with q1000 troll helmet. But seriously, you can always use your inventory and just put on things during the battle or whatever.

It's not a big advantage, but it is some advantage, and locking any advantage behind a paywall is bad. The verification and subscription are a necessary evil because the devs need to make money somehow, but anything beyond that is unnecessary.

Giving anyone a fair chance of obtaining it regardless of their real-life financial situation (e.g. by just making it a craftable item) would solve the issue.

During battle gives you a cooldown. You'll need to equip it before starting combat. Again, not a huge difference, but still an advantage.
