Perhaps "Less likely to get wounded when picking dangerous animals" should be a part of forager credo, instead of boring +10 perc. So forager equiped with gloves would be completely protected from such wounds.

Or you can ran it over with horse i know. But some quests specifically ask to pick it, plus you can still get wounded while butchering, which is even dumber imo.

Goodness gracious, you might have to take all of 7HHP damage once or twice. (And no the wound only happens on picking up and wringing neck, not butchering.)

i dont like taking damage for doing nothing wrong. From a gamedesign perspective i think damage should be a punishment for some sort of fuckup, not a random thing to spice up your everyday activities. Should we discuss bird lung shenanigans again?

I think the powers that be are somewhat dedicated to the current paradigm of "you get wounds, shit happens, deal with it," though, and I tend to agree with them in that. If every wound could be completely mitigated what's the point of having them in the first place?
