my attempt at mimicking jorb's shitty art
"You are enthralled by the unique spiritual essence of all things. The ravenous pursuit of the Heathling Who Seeks has driven you to divine purpose. The yearning for ethereal knowledge is intoxicating, you scour for answers, riddles and omens in all facets of the Hearth's least likely alcoves and cavities. What may be a simple feather or organ to some has become an endless channel of divine wisdom and insight. As if guided by the Old Gods themselves, you are drawn to dig through the depths of the arcane in search of resolution. Scrying the future of The Diviner promises..."

Bonus when crafting divine curios. Or maybe some should only be craftable by a diviner?
(lots of the curio's that require A Beautiful Dream. ie. all "Seer's" items, Divination in Tin, Volva's Wand, Dark Effigy, Primitive Doll?)
This could literally be any kind of bonus, maybe they can be studied a couple times before disappearing, maybe they get a 10% LP boost or quality boost? I assume this could be displayed as a "divine" label on the bottom of the item.
You can perform Haruspicy
When butchering an animal, you unlock the ability for entrails and intestines to drop as a divine extispicy.
Haruspicy is the act of studying animal guts as a form of divination. The item "Grand Haruspex" should be added in to this "rare drop pool" and probably buffed. I think there should be a few items in this pool of potential drops, like the grand haruspex, maybe a regular and smaller haruspex as well, and some much rarer or animal-specific drops like "divine liver" and a potential increase chance to get dark hearts and tumours. The idea here is that you can get your Diviner to butcher the animal after you remove the meat for a chance to get some nice curio. I think every base in the game ends up with a massive overload of entrails at some point. This would just be a fun and interesting way to "get rid of them" when you are all stocked up.
You can perform Augury
When plucking feathers from a bird, you unlock the ability for feathers to drop as divine omens.
This is an expansion of my Augury suggestion. Same idea as above, most feathers from most birds are trash, this would be a fun way to give them a chance to be something better. I assume there could be a few different rare "omen" drops and maybe some bird-specific ones. Bad omen, good omen, divine omen, etc. I assume these would be actually good feather curios.
You can perform Animism
This one I am not 100% sure about. It could use some tweaking or maybe a totally new idea but this is what I have so far.
You can craft a new type of juice for a Runed Dolmen with a scrying orb on it. Instead of infusing it with Scrying Juice to perform its normal duty, you can infuse it with Diviner's Juice, which I assume would be made with dreams, good omens, haruspex and such. This would change the Scrying Orb in to a new item, like a Charged Scrying Orb that has an active fuel meter on it similar to a torch. The idea here would be that you can put the Charged Scrying Orb in your study window, and while it is there you have an increased chance to pick various crops and stuff as their rare format. ex. A harvested onion would have a greater chance as being harvested as a crying onion. I assume that there could easily be more "alive variant of crop/foragable" added to the game here and that maybe some variants ONLY get a chance to drop when you are studying a Charged Scrying Orb.
Anyways, the whole idea here is that you would definitely have to build a new character archetype around this credo or forever be penalized by picking and butchering things at a quality loss. The rewards aren't insane, they are just meant to add some fun drops to shit that is trash and/or need a sink.
I assume it would functionally be more larpy and a fun "content unlocker" rather than a "must have for minmaxing" type of credo.
BONUS -
Some of the drops can be used to make fun larpy gear like a Diviner's Robes, for a mystical looking Hooded Ranger's Cape type thing, and a Lituus, a sparkly fun larpy wand/instrument???
