Roast Meat: 250% energy -> 500% energy

Currently, you can eat three pieces of roast meat and gain 750% energy at the cost of 12% base hunger.

Alternatively, you can roast two bugs and get 700& energy at the cost of 1% base hunger.

Piece of meat shouldn't be arguably 12 times worse than two bugs. Well, it would still be 6 times worse but that would still be a significant improvement for early game.

The core problem is that the hunger value is too dominant an aspect of food; if the hunger modifier only went up to 100% instead of up to 300% it wouldn't be much of a problem for roast meat to have only 250 energy gain at 4% hunger. The '250' isn't the problem - it's a fairly reasonable value considering how easy it is to get meat. The problem isn't that 'restoring your energy consumes too much meat'. The problem is that it increases your hunger too much, and that is only a problem because 4% hunger is devastating due to the hunger mechanic being unbalanced.

Bandaid fix to a system that could be properly fixed without too much effort: Making accessible FEP/hunger free foods (I'd probably slot roasted meat into that), or making it so only eating on tables gives FEPs/hunger would both solve this issue perfectly and be relatively easy to explain in a minor tutorial change.

Alternatively food system can also be reworked by simply giving multiple stats once you ate food that gives much more FEP required for your FEP bar, or give enough hunger just for fep bar, ignore hunger percentage for overflowed stats.

I agree that hunger could use a rather big overhaul, was hoping the Thread topic would be decent stopgap in the meanwhile.

A single intended energy food that doesn't give hunger or any method to eat food without gaining hunger is literally the same amount of work as modifying the energy of roast meat, but modifying the hunger on roast meat doesn't really(?) do anything.

A nab that's going to fuck their hunger eating roast meat for 250% energy is going to fuck it the same amount if it's 500%. It'll just take 20 minutes instead of 10.
