Just wanted a separate post for this
I think some of the changes proposed in the changelog for W14 are gonna be really bad both for PVP and for regular, casual players aswell.
About the hunger system:
People are still only gonna eat at 300% hunger, it's just gonna be more tedious and annoying to get there but it will still be possible AND better to quest for hunger reduction rewards than to eat at 200% and ruin your hunger further, instead of making it easier for people to have competetive stats it's just gonna be more difficult and "titans" are gonna be even more of titans than they used to be. Instead of reducing the gap between titans and casuals, this change only makes it bigger. Instead of doing things around the village and engaging with the content people are gonna be questing for hunger reduction OR making salt alts to make up for the salt nerf. Later in the world when you have good tables and symbel and food doesn't give you that much hunger people are gonna be even less likely to go lower than 300%. Overall this change is gonna be super annoying early world, resulting in bullshit like suiciding your character at 50% just to reset your hunger or questing for 10 hours a day to get hunger reduction rewards.
Also, if spiralling is gonna be back even with that "twist" I think we can asume that it will be easier to get higher quality metal and metal progression is gonna be faster, which means higher quality b12's/swords and armors - if you add that to the fact that you are gonna get stats slower because of the hunger change it's gonna create a disproportion between gear quality and character stats, which is gonna result in people getting oneshot in PVP as their stats aren't gonna keep up with their gear quality.
My idea:
Don't mess with the hunger, don't nerf salt, literally noone complained about this worlds stat gain and even if it was slightly too fast then considering that now we will have higher ql metal it's gonna even out the stats. The cachalot spawning nerf is also gonna slower the stat progression by a lot as the "titans" were basically spamming whale meals 24/7, now they hopefully won't be able to.
