Tis would be nice this world to have alot more foods like a few dozen new recipes and let us do the testing of them but most importantly gives us alot more foods to consider in our paths to achieving certain stats. Having recipes using mostly grown items to achieve similar results to that of meat options would be grand and in turn helps diversify the drinks needed to make some of these foods great and give us a nice variable diet. Think of effort of making pastas and marinating foods pays off sort of effort and time over hunting a million bears.
Maybe also add the ability to make drinks with different buffs or usages depending on ingredients like strawberry milkshake (strawberry+milk+ice), or high energy fruit drinks to help with energy regeneration while working this could also be added to alcohol production where different casks add different flavors to wines or whiskey etc.
What im getting at is throw so many food recipes with the added variables at us that we can spend forever finding the different paths to getting to peak stats. this world sucked that it boiled down to whale orca meat was op used mainly in autumn steaks almost nothing came close, and as a farmer/cook i hated seeing all the lamb/goat/cow/rabbit/chicken meat basically useless and my fields of turnips and beets was essentially animal fodder. Hell peas were used in credo then no one wanted them same for millet, carrots, berries and tree fruits. It was so sad seeing all this food and no recipe came close to being good or it had a hunger % that made it detrimental to consider it. A tree produces 5 apples (should be more tbh with ages of tree etc) but the fact that 5 apple pies essentially pale to some beaver dogs i can make in a few minutes was just sad.
