Baby Trolls

Trolls have an extremly low chance of spawning with 1-3 babies nearby. Babies aren't nearly as tough as adults, but are still formidable foes. They fight alongside their parent, but will flee once the parent dies. Even lower chance of a baby spawning without a parent, which will always flee when spotted. Loot is pretty much the same as adults, just a lot less of it. Perhaps a new curio, Baby Teeth or something like that.

Troll nests? Also extremely rare and always found abandoned. Can't decide if there should be any use to them or purely aesthetic.

I like the idea, expands the underground a bit and it is realistic for trolls to have babies, unless they spawn from their mother fully grown.

I liked the completely fanon idea that Slimes and Trolls are sort of a leftover or failed/discarded first attempt(s) from the Old Gods to create life. Every troll would've been created and left trapped and sleeping in the stone, and reason why they're aggressive could something as dark and cynical as they themselves know their existence to be an unnatural thing.

I like the idea, in addition there is no real need to place baby trolls in same environment and behavior as adult ones - just like sandworms and sandtrout in duna they exist in different environments but interdependent.

Same with baby trolls, they can spawn in deep caves just like normal creatures with another behavior, while adult trolls are the elder one of the specie
