forager credo working properly?

First quest i got is "bring a heartsease", wich from wiki is 1200 perc*exp...it does look a bit too rough for beign the first quest of the credo, i'm not sure it should work like that.

as far as i know those quests are pretty random. It's annoying, but we have to deal with it

It is just random. You can get a task to collect something that growth during an autumn only, for example. Not so fun if it is a beginning of a summer

Abandon it and pray to RNG
