Vigilance is right, Bob Dole is tired of seeing threads a month+ later and finding out the images are all gone because they are all uploaded to a shitty image uploading site that deletes them after a month or two.

This is not the fault of the forumgoers however! The fault lies with jorbtar! With a 250kib limit, we can barely upload anything to hafen itself, so we are forced to use those websites!
Jorbtar, We demand that you step out of 2001 and give us more than 250kib of picture upload ability! You are actively harming havens longevity when all the cool threads get gutted of pictures! grrr

To be perfectly honest, even back then my comment was basically advocating "put all the eggs in one basket" -strategy. Only difference was that this particular basket claimed it was not rigged to explode.

(Lots of people post threads with images posted on services like Puush that EXPLICITLY say they will delete images either after certain time has passed since upload, or last time they have been accessed.)
