Why can't I put a piece of straw in my mouth equipment slot?

I'd like to be able to put a piece of straw in my mouth equipment slot, like a pipe, so I can walk around looking like a real farmer.

How is anyone supposed to take my farming seriously if I can't look the part? What is the point of life, really, if I can't walk around with a piece of straw hanging out of my mouth as I tend to my crop?

Game is unplayable without this feature. 0/10 would not farm again.

Edit: Bonus points if it gives +1 farming.
