Destruction of recently placed objects should be faster.

Man... they need to implement ownership into the game. Whatever you build, your name/character are somehow attached to it. And if I want to smash something I built, it should happen like 80% faster.
For roads at the very least, preferably for everything.
I can understand big things like houses, windmills, etc taking longer
but if I want to destroy a fence or something I built -- especially just recently -- I don't see why I have to pay the time price twice to re-place it.
That or implement a planning mode where you can place objects temporarily and then build them if you like, or cancel it if you don't.
I don't even care that I don't get refunded the resources -- I just don't want to wait around for it.

There is a plan mode, lol. Place the blueprint down and hover your cursor over the required ingredients and it will show you what the structure would look like. If using ender client, press CTR+G to show the map grid and CTR+H to show the hitboxes. Or just git gud at planning
