or just make us able to pulldown the cap, halfing the inherent statbuff, but keeping the guildings untouched.
adding an small incentive for people without good gilded hats to pull it up, and keep the hat for aestetic reasons.
the problem isnt that 2 slots cant keep up with there guildings. your average rangerscape comes out better than most non tailor made 2 pice combo,and miners with bearcapes are some of the rare instances where it is considered okay too wear an cape for an while, even an 2slot one
capes are largely garbage because of wich slots they occopie. the helmet slot. is your second greatest armour slot. and also the slot with the biggest amount of statproviding items.
and the "hussarwings or coracle" slot. hell, most singleslot capes cant compete with wings or boats. i mean, coracle is gonna stay in that slot.untill the world ends or they nerf it again. and its gonna take an herminecape with an LOT of guildings before you would rather wear that instead of wings.
untill that point. capes are for chars that never leave base , and earlygame cavespekunking only
