Dismantling items

The idea of building something and then dumping it when not needed anymore (or destroying it completely) is fairly modern.
In the past, people used to get back any useful material before throwing something away, turning a useless item into perfectly fine materials for something new.

I think it would be nice to add such a feature to the game. Allow us to recover materials from unused items by dismantling them.

A few examples:
- A barrel could be dismantled to give back some boards.
- A Dry Stone Wall could be dismantled to give back stone.
- A metal cabinet or metal cauldron could be dismantled to give back some metal bars (or nuggets as if they were scraps).
- A pearl necklace should give back most pearls.
- A merchant ring should be melted back into gold nuggets.
- A fur cloak should be ripped into fur scraps.
- A Sail should be cut into cloth and ropes.
and so on...
I pointed out both useful and less useful stuff, because I believe this should be a feature players decide when to use, not something used exclusively on very high value items.

Some materials, like glue or clay, would not be recoverable at all due to their transformation during the crafting process. Some others, like glass, could be considered too fragile for this and just break, making the unrecoverable too.

Hm. Maybe even have the amount of resources returned be dependant on skills relevant to constructing the object. Like deconstructing a stone wall will yield up to 75% of the stone as long as your masonry skill is at an equal or higher value than the quality of the wall. And deconstructing should take a lot longer than just flat out destroying it, maybe even twice as long.
