Escargo should be made in a frying pan not by hand

Especially since this is a spiralling world, but still true now, any food not made in a frying pan is completely useless past the first 3-4 weeks of the game.

I agree that escargot should, but I think that there are other recipes like honeyed bear that should be kept relevant as well. Will's kind of hard to find good recipes for.

Many things are easier to make in frying pan, but I'm not sure that early world food should depend on metal

I'd argue escargot isn't an early world food. All of the good permutations require farmed salad greens, and it only becomes a super viable bulk recipe (the good ones) in fall.

You just make it with stinging nettles and forest snails and getting +2 con to your fep, do not overcomplicate

Who cares about +2 con at that stage of the game? You're getting con out the ass form sausages anyway.

We're speaking about very early game where pan is not an option, not even speaking about meatgrinder

And that's the stage of the game where you care about a pitiful amount of Con2?

Theory vs reality.

I think it's silly to muck with early foods for no real reason. Should frog legs require vegetable oil?
