Maybe it would be fair if it worked similar to have ship speeds worked: at q0 you would have only base speed, and at qINFINITE you would have twice the speed.

So depending on pipe quality, you would get modifier to smoking efficiency bonus ranging from 0% to 100%.

Hookah's range could be 100% to 200%.

im on board with buffing pipes based on q , but pleas dont make me grind for quality hookas, them being teclocked behind steel is bad enough, thats an more nonsensically teclock than towers even.

you can doublesmoke with pipe+hooka, so it wont ever just be outscaled by pipe alone .



on an other note, i would much more like too see, the "buff per tick" ratio increasing by q than just the speed of smoking,
